Description

Masayuki Nakano and Michiyuki Kawashima (Boom Boom Satellites) smashed out of Japan and into Europe in 1997 with a pioneering combination of rock music and electronics.
Their fresh and new sound inspired a new wave of electronic artists in Japan while British music magazine Melody Maker heralded the duo as “The Chemical Brothers, a blast from new prodigies!”.
Countless other rave reviews followed as the pair toured overseas and made numerous appearances at major European rock festivals.
2007 saw Boom Boom Satellites headline the White Stage at the Fuji Rock Festival, and the release of their 6th album ‘Exposed; followed by a sold out Japan tour in 2008.
In the same year two of their songs were used in Batman sequel The Dark Night and ‘Exposed’ was released nationwide in the US.
Another sold out tour took place in Japan in 2010, followed by an arena tour. Boom Boom Satellites have built a reputation as one of the music world’s most innovative artists, creating new compositions, remixes and enticing new fans and impressing existing ones consistently for the last 15 years.
