Description Deliverance started with Pierre Duneau (vocals, Memories of a dead man) and Etienne Sarthou (guitar, AqME). Etienne sees in Pierre someone with whom he would be able to develop a new artistic expression, anchored to his roots and assertive, but also free from the rules often imposed in the extreme music scene. Therefore… a deliverance. The band starts writing their 2nd album with the feeling of being at the dawn of a new era. They take the time to refine each track in order to express as accurately as possible the deep and complex feelings they want to convey. The black metal/sludge DNA of Deliverance is still very present, and even exacerbated at times, but also confronted with new post rock elements, Floydian psychedelia and even contemporary indie rock/electro components, which was something totally new in this musical genre. So they started writing a 3rd album with the desire to go even further and test their limits. Neon chaos in a junk-sick dawn opens a new ambitious chapter and sets the bar higher than its predecessors by creating a unique soundscape. This very ambitious project allows them to sign with the prestigious label Les Acteurs de l’Ombre, a guarantee of quality and a sign of the band’s constant artistic progression.
Their first EP Doomsday, Please, released only on vinyl format, and their first album CHRST (Deadlight Records) were unanimously acclaimed by the critics, both in France and abroad. With tattoo artist Easy Sacha (owner of the Mystery Tattoo Club in Paris) at the bass, Deliverance finally welcomed their fourth member, Fred Quota (drums, BLVL) to solidify the project.
A Pandora’s box was open. The band was moving forward, experimenting and affirming its deliverance from the codes that stood between supposedly irreconcilable horizons. Their album Holocaust 26:1-46 is released at the beginning of 2020 and once again praised by the critics. They had made a name for themselves. But slowed down by the pandemic, the band will unfortunately not be able to defend the album on stage.
Noticed by the Hellfest programming crew, the band is now preparing to defend their vision on stage and push this artistic project to the limit.

Vinyl discs are released in many editions and variations, such as standard edition, re-issue, demonstration (demo), not for sale, promotional (promo), special edition, limited edition, and many other editions and versions. The disc you receive could be any of these editions or variations.
When we describe the sleeve condition in this listing, we are describing the outer sleeve only, specifically, it does not describe the inner sleeve unless explicitly referenced.
Almost all of our vinyl records will include either an original inner sleeve or a plain inner sleeve, or a printed inner sleeve. The images of this inner sleeve as shown on this listing are stock images, not the actual image. Inner sleeves are notorious for being replaced or damaged, such as edge splits. Unless explicitly mentioned in this listing the inner sleeve is not part of this purchase. If you purchase this vinyl record it is with the clear understanding the inner sleeve is not included as part of this sale, and if a sleeve is included it is provided on an as/is condition solely as packaging, as a protector for the record, which may have creases, wear or edge splits.
If we reference a hairline(s), it means it is a light line on the disc that looks like a hair. Hairlines are different to scratches or wear. A hairline is lighter and has limited and less impact on the playing quality, whereas wear or a scratch can cause some level of clicks, pops or interference when playing.
